INSPIRATIONAL EVENT: Bishop Mark and others are holding several inspirational events that will help us focus on the link between Mission and Prayer. ‘A Still Small Voice’ recognises that ‘Mission without Prayer is like riding a bike without a chain – lots of activity but you just don’t get anywhere.’ It is an attempt to put first things first – to help focus on our relationship with the living God. If, as individuals and as a church our relationship with God is weak, what do we have to share with the world? Many of us struggle to keep a daily discipline of prayer and quiet when we can be open to God and the direction of the Holy Spirit. A Still Small Voice, based on the story of Elijah (1 Kings 19), is designed to inspire, encourage and assist us in finding ways of praying that help strengthen our relationship with the Lord. All are invited to come on 25th February 10am-12.30pm at St Andrew’s Shifnal...further details to follow.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: St Michael’s and St John’s would like to invite everyone to a joint Memorial Service on Sunday 26th February 4.00pm at St Michael’s Church.  It will be a service of remembering loved ones and a thanksgiving of their lives.  If you would like to add a name to the ‘Naming List’ in remembrance then please speak to Lesley (Office 670033) or Mike.

REQUEST: A missionary friend of Sandra Umataliev has asked if anyone has a car which she could use from 12th Feb to 6th March whilst at home to celebrate her father's 80th birthday.
